EMBER
A tiny fire lives within you, and it is yearning to become a greater expression. This fire, your ember, is begging to be tended. It wants oxygen. It wants fuel.
We are gathering a circle of empathetic humans working for justice, telling important truths, creating beauty, soothing the suffering of others, caring for the most vulnerable among us, and planting meaningful seeds for the future. Because when you gather small embers together, when you bank the coals, it keeps your tiny fire from going out.
We are living through a period of increased human violence, environmental destruction, racism, genocide, fascism, uncertainty, and despair. All the while we carry the everyday joys and sorrows of being human. And yet we are still being asked to function and perform in a capitalist system.
What has it been costing you, to numb, to perform, to survive in this moment? What would it look like to allow yourself to be a full human being with fears, desires, and a longing to be the truest, most alive version of yourself?
Imagine what it would look like to tend again to the deepest longing of your heart. To fully express your truth. Imagine the joy that would unlock. Joy is not antithetical to resistance. In the words of civil rights activist Tarana Burke:
"Joy is an act of resistance— and so we will lean in to that joy, knowing that our humanity demands that we fully partake of this magical experience.”
Inside each of us is a tiny fire, an ember that might flicker inside us but cannot be extinguished. Explore your ember with a circle of people who care deeply about the future of humanity and the planet.
Because when you gather small embers together, when you bank the coals, it keeps your tiny fire from going out.
Meet Your Coaches
Briana Bellamy & Jenny Wagner
"Our training curriculum is aimed at activists, advocates, healers, and troublemakers. These people don't always see themselves in the world of coaching. Opening doors to the industry isn't enough. We have to re-ground the industry in values that support this broader community of people coaching for the collective good."
Briana Bellamy (she/her), Global Focus Coaching Co-Founder
"We built our coaching school because we want to put transformative coaching skills into the hands of people who are improving their communities. That's a big part why we're sharing the foundations of our approach for free in this class."
Jenny Wagner (she/her), Global Focus Coaching Co-Founder
